This service is a subscription-based product replacement plan. By subscribing, you agree that:
By subscribing to Light Bulb Insurance™, you enter into a subscription service contract with us. This contract provides you with the right to claim replacement bulbs or store credit for failed household light bulbs, subject to the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions set forth in this agreement.
Cost: $1.00 per month, billed monthly on a recurring basis.
Payment: Payment is processed automatically via your selected payment method.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel.
Monthly Limit: Maximum of 1 claim per calendar month.
Annual Limit: Maximum of 6 bulbs per calendar year.
Value Cap: Maximum value of $6.00 per bulb.
Personal Use Only: Coverage is limited to personal household use. Commercial, business, or rental property use is explicitly excluded.
Coverage applies only to standard household light bulbs meeting ALL of the following criteria:

Submission: Claims must be submitted through your online account dashboard.
Eligibility Confirmation: You must confirm that the bulb meets eligibility criteria.
Fulfillment Choice: You may choose between a replacement bulb (shipped) or store credit (digital).
Processing: Claims are processed automatically or with minimal review. We reserve the right to reject claims that do not meet eligibility criteria.
No Receipts Required: You are not required to provide receipts or proof of purchase.
Replacement Bulbs: Shipped via our fulfillment partner. Typical delivery time is 5-7 business days. Tracking information will be provided.
Store Credit: Issued digitally and instantly. Valid at participating retailers. No cash value.
Shipping: We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or force majeure events.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription immediately if we detect fraudulent activity, abuse of the service, or violation of these terms. This includes but is not limited to: submitting false claims, reselling replacement bulbs, using the service for commercial purposes, or exceeding reasonable usage patterns.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from this service is limited to the total amount you have paid in subscription fees over the past 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. This service provides product replacement only and does not cover property damage, personal injury, or any other losses.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or through your account dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription through your account dashboard. We may terminate your subscription for violation of these terms, fraud, or abuse. Upon termination, your access to benefits ends immediately, though any pending claims will be processed according to these terms.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and Light Bulb Insurance™ regarding this service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
